The Award aims to recognise innovative development of gerontechnological products/ solutions or ICT-enabled services, programmes and campaigns to enable independent living and social participation of elderly people in good health, comfort and safety, which is believed to be an important factor to achieve “ageing in place” and to enhance the sustainability of an ageing society. 

Smart Empowerment

This Award aims to recognise more “client-centric” innovative development of products/ solutions or ICT-enabled services, programmes and campaigns to address unique challenges faced by the underprivileged in the community, to improve their circumstances and quality of life, safeguard their right in social participation, and no one being marginalized in the smart city development.

Smart Transformation (Solution for Charitable Sector)

This Award aims to recognise innovative development of products/ solutions or ICT-enabled services, programmes and campaigns to enable charitable institutions achieving higher operation productivity and efficiency, improving client experience, service effectiveness and quality, and ultimately enhancing the quality of life of their targeted clients.
